Another Magazine Cover for William & Kate

For royal watchers in America, William and Kate are in the cover of Us Weekly again.  The title says the “Royal Wedding is On”. Here’s the associated summary:

Get ready for the wedding of the century — and the making of a new British Princess!

After eight years of dating and two brief splits, Prince William and love Kate Middleton will finally tie the knot next year, multiple sources confirm to the new Us Weekly.

“The engagement will be announced in 2011,” a source says. (A palace rep tells Us it does not comment on the private lives of the couple.)

Yet the heir to the British throne and his commoner girlfriend, both 28, made a secret pact to marry three years ago while on vacation in the Seychelles. “Kate wanted assurances from William,” Katie Nicholl, royal watcher and author of William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls, tells Us. “William told Kate she was The One, but he was not ready to get married. She…agreed to wait for him.”

Adds another insider: “He wants to spend the rest of his life with her.”

Kate Middleton’s Style Secrets

When Kate Middleton first came into the public eye in 2003, she was a conservative cowboy boot-wearing student, who favoured jeans and jumpers to floor-length frocks. But by 2006, and in keeping with her high-profile romance, Kate’s style had evolved. Casting aside her more casual wardrobe, Prince William’s girlfriend began to favour more elegant ensembles entirely fitting that of a potential princess.

Already influenced by her mother’s penchant for tailored jackets and silk scarves, the pretty brunette employed the services of Leesa Whisker, an Ireland-born stylist who became a key figure in dressing Kate for a potentially active role in the royal family. And since then, Kate’s fashion credentials have gone from strength to strength.
