Prince Charles & Camilla during riot attack last week
Security around the Prince of Wales during a visit in north London appears to have been stepped up in the wake of the student protest attack on him and wife Camilla. Charles was accompanied by a stronger police presence than normal during a visit to open the newly refurbished Jewish Museum in Camden.
The Prince arrived in a green bomb-proof Bentley limousine, believed to be armour plated with bullet proof glass. He had with him seven protection officers. One rode with him in the £150,000 car. Six more followed in two Range Rovers. An unmarked silver police van full of uniformed cops also joined the escort, which was protected by four motorbike outriders.

William & Kate Updates

Pendant co-designed by Kate Middleton
A pendant designed by Kate. Kate Middleton is fast becoming a fashion icon, with her blue Issa engagement dress selling out after 24 hours, and with her stimulating high street fashion chains to re-release the old wardrobe she wore in her engagement portraits.
But if you want to buy something designed BY Kate, you can do so. When she worked at Jigsaw in 2007, Kate collaborated with jeweler Claudia Bradby to create this silver bean pendant (pictured left). Bradby says: “Kate was very clear in what she wanted. She wanted a very simple bean pendant that a mother and daughter could both wear together. She is a classy girl and I genuinely remember thinking that William was very lucky to be going out with her – I thought she would be a huge asset to the royal family one day”
