William proposed in Kenya. It was “very romantic.” But Kate called it a private moment and wouldn’t reveal more details. William wouldn’t say if he knelt when he asked for her hand.
Kate describes the prospect of joining the Royal Family “daunting.”
William gave Kate his mother’s blue sapphire engagement ring. “As you may recognise now it is my mother’s engagement ring, so of course, it is very special to me, and Kate is very special to me now as well. It is only right the two are put together.”
