Catherine Davies shared a kiss (or more?) with Harry in 2007
It was four years ago, and was dismissed by royal aides as a playful kiss at the time. But Prince Harry’s dalliance with a mother 13 years his senior was yesterday back under the microscope amid claims the pair had other trysts.
Catherine Davies, then 34, told of an evening of flirting with the prince, which ended with a ‘long, lovely kiss’. The revelations left Harry’s on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy fuming.
Yesterday, however, Miss Davies’s former nanny Monica Herrero claimed her boss met with Harry on a number of other occasions, with the prince sending a chauffeur-driven limousine to pick up Miss Davies twice in one week in 2007. She said she looked after Miss Davies’s children, then aged 6 and 8, while Miss Davies went out with the prince. Her daughters would tell me: “‘This is the car that Prince Harry sends for mummy.’ Although she was my boss, when she was really happy she would share things with me, like what happened with Prince Harry. She would show me messages that he sent her, and she said he wanted to take her hand and travel around the world. Catherine told me that one time that she kissed Prince Harry in a bathroom.”
Since meeting Harry as a divorced single mother, Miss Davies remarried and subsequently split from her husband, following an appearance in the reality TV show.
The allegations were denied by courtiers who pointed out the 26-year-old does not have a personal chauffeur to send anywhere. Instead he has a driver who accompanies him and his bodyguards on official and private engagements. A St James’s Palace spokesman last night said: “We wouldn’t comment on the prince’s private life.”

Prince Harry ‘enormously pleased’ to have Kate as part of the family
Prince Harry spoke of his happiness that Kate Middleton will soon be joining the royal family.
The Prince paid an emotional tribute to his relatives as he prepared to collect an award recognising his humanitarian work. He told how he is “enormously pleased” at his brother William’s engagement and also described his enduring admiration for his mother Princess Diana.
Harry said of their engagement: “I have known Kate for years and it’s great that she is now becoming part of the family. I am enormously pleased. I always wished for a sister and now I have one.”
Of Diana, he said: “I hope that my mother would be proud of me. I always think of my mother in everything I do.”
Harry will receive the award in Berlin tomorrow for setting up the Sentebale charity to help orphans in Lesotho.

Barack Obama will NOT be Invited to the Royal Wedding
Royal sources yesterday revealed that Barack Obama will not be invited to PrinceWilliam’s wedding ne xt year. As William is not yet heir to the throne, his wedding to Kate Middleton is not classed as a ‘state occasion’ – and the couple feel under no pressure to fill the 2,000-strong congregation with heads of state.
Courtiers suggested they are more eager to ask ordinary citizens and charity workers than foreign dignitaries and VIPs. A number of heads of state are likely to be invited in line with previous royal weddings, possibly including France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy and wife Carla Bruni. But the decision to exclude the U.S. President and his wife from the celebrations is a break from tradition. Prince Charles and Princess Diana invited then President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy to their 1981 ceremony.
A senior courtier said yesterday: “It is certainly not the case that all foreign heads of state will be excluded. The guest list is still being drawn up and could change, but as things stand it’s right (to say Mr Obama will not be invited).”
