Prince Harry marrying Chelsy Davy next year?

Let the Harry-Chelsy engagement rumours begin!  In light of their recent very public show of togetherness at Harry’s Wings Ceremony, this story isn’t surprising…

Apache warrior Prince Harry has blitzed royal aides by telling them he wants to wed Chelsy Davy before he goes back to Afghanistan. The prince’s bombshell came as he was awarded his helicopter pilot wings by dad Prince Charles, with proud Chelsy as his guest. Her presence at the family-only ceremony at the Army Air Corps’ Middle Wallop HQ is an important sign of how serious their romance has become.

His announcement has astounded palace aides who are already planning diary dates for Prince William’s wedding to girlfriend Kate Middleton.

One family friend said: “Harry is completely committed to Chelsy and wants everyone to know it. He doesn’t have time to sit around and wait for his brother to make up his mind. Harry has been to Afghanistan before and he knows only too well that where he’s going life really can be too short to worry about protocol.”

The Queen is understood to be unaware of the situation at present.

One palace aide explained: “We have to establish if Prince Harry is really serious about this, and if it’s possible first.”
