We were anticipating this. Prince Harry’s on-off (currently ex?) girlfriend Chelsy Davy returned to London on Friday. Saturday night, according to The Sun & The Mirror, the two partied in Beaufort House till 4am, then they climbed into the BOOT of a Jaguar. I know they’re trying to keep it low to avoid photographers. But if true, getting into a car trunk just sounds silly, especially if you’re leaving from a club. Now if we only had pictures….
Prince Harry and on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy climbed into a CAR BOOT together for a lift home after a secret night out. The pair got into the trunk of the chauffeur-driven Jaguar. In the clearest signal yet that he is back with Chelsy, the prince smuggled her out of a side entrance after hours together at exclusive Beaufort House.
Onlookers said he helped her into the boot as security staff tried to shield them from view – then hopped in alongside her. A flunky then slammed it shut before the car drove slowly away from the club in Chelsea, West London. Luggage that was in the boot had been moved on to the back seats.
One witness said: “It was bizarre. The boot was popped open before the pair emerged. Neither seemed the worse the wear for drink when they climbed in and they acted as if it was the most normal thing.”
Another onlooker said: “It was like they had never split up. Harry and Chelsy were with a group of pals, but they only had eyes for each other. Anybody could see there was still chemistry between the two of them.”
Now friends say they are likely to spend the next few months getting their relationship back on track. “A crowd of the couple’s mutual friends came out to welcome Chelsy home on Saturday – but it was clear she was looking forward to seeing Harry more than anybody else. They spent more than five hours in the cocktail bar, sharing drinks and cracking jokes together.”
Despite spending an evening together, it is not thought they have rekindled their romance. The night was a one-off where they spent time catching up, according to a source.
Chelsy spent the last 6 months trekking in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mauritius to mark the end of her law training. The couple had a tempestuous five-year relationship, before splitting in September last year. She’s said to be starting work at lawyers Allen & Overy in September.

David Cameron: Prince William will make a “fantastic husband” and “wonderful king”
In an interview with CNN, Prime Minister David Cameron has this to say about Prince William & the upcoming Royal Wedding:
”I know it will be a huge success, not just for the country and I think the world looking at Britain and how we have this wonderful Royal Family and Prince William, who I’ve spent some time with recently, is a remarkable young man – great, balanced, poised. I think he will make I am sure a fantastic husband and one day he will make a wonderful king. I think the world will be looking at this royal wedding but I think we will be very proud of it in the UK, but above all it’s two young people who love each other very much. They are getting married and we should be very happy for them.”
Mr Cameron said he had come to know the Prince better after spending time with him in Zurich during England’s recent failed bid to host the World Cup. ”It was great to hear, you know, when someone’s getting married, the excitement, the enthusiasm. I could very much feel it.”
Asked whether it would be a budget wedding given the Government’s austerity measures, Mr Cameron said: ‘‘No, it will be a royal wedding that the whole country can celebrate. I obviously have weekly meetings with Her Majesty the Queen,” he said. “They are absolutely secret so I would have to kill you if I told you anything that was discussed.”
