Chelsy Davy (Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend) and her father Charles
Since Chelsy Davy — Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend — broke up with her prince and moved back to Africa last September, we have heard very little of her and often wondered how she’s doing, or if she and Harry have any chance of reconciliation. So it’s a pity that the first bit of news we get is about her father, Charles Davy, and his controversial business that has been for years speculated to have ties to the Mugabe regime.
Chelsy Davy’s father receives major Dubai investment in Zimbabwe game reserve stake
A game reserve in Zimbabwe part-owned by the father of Chelsy Davy has a new majority investor, in a deal that demonstrates his closeness to Robert Mugabe’s regime. Charles Davy, along with the other owners of the Bubye Conservancy in Matabeleland South province, has accepted an investment by a consortium led by Dubai World, the sovereign investment company of the Arab emirate. No other white landowner in Zimbabwe is known to have managed to raise such investment for years. Article: The Telegraph
A new report emerges… Six months of undercover investigations on Charles Davy revealed that he has funded Zanu PF since 2002 and has partnered senior Zanu PF officials in illicit rhino horn trade. The officials are Webster Shamu and Emmerson Mnangagwa. Despite spirited denials by Mr. Davy, secret documents have exposed what he really is. He has not only funded terror to save his wildlife business but he has treated his workers worse than animals. Article: The Zimdiaspora
