According to Katie Nicholl’s latest, Prince William made sure he will be with girlfriend Kate Middleton when she turns 28 on January 9, 2010, thus scheduling his trip to New Zealand and Australia to commence January 17.  Although they may very well spend her birthday together, it’s funny how rusty Daily Mail’s columnist Katie Nicholl can be.  This article quotes “sources:”

“William is really thrilled that he will be here to celebrate,” said a source.  “Kate is delighted too, especially as he missed her last birthday because he was at RAF Cranwell and the one before that because he was at Sandhurst.”

It the source unreliable?  A year late?  Katie Nicholl should have known, because she herself reported on William’s overnight birthday stay at Kate’s family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire this year, and even had pictures to prove it.
