Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s girlfriend, has put off her training as a solicitor to see more of the world. She had been due to start as a trainee with top London law firm Allen and Overy, but has deferred her place for a year to go traveling. The 24-year-old law graduate, who was one of eight applicants who got accepted for the course, plans to tour Asia and Australia after spending New Year in South Africa with Harry. She’ll start working for A&O in September 2010.

Harry is said to be very supportive of Chelsy’s wishes, even if it means long periods apart. They plan to spend New Years in South Africa together and are hoping to go to Lesotho to see Harry’s charity Sentebale.
