Site on Short Holiday

Site Notice:

After a nonstop ride for the last four months, a holiday for British Royals!  I shall be away, so there won’t be updates for a week. Will hopefully be back by April 11, in time for William & Kate’s official engagement in Darwen, Lancashire.

When I get the chance, I might tweet (http://twitter.com/britishroyals), update our Facebook page or add news links to the comments section.

For now, I leave you with a teaser of the Queen’s Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, set for June 3, 2012.  (c/o the Official Website)

See you in a week!

We’re back up!

The blog has been compromised and we’ve lost about a week’s content.  Associated comments during that time period were also deleted.  Our sincere apologies…

Site Spotlight: Princess Diana Biography

I am slowly expanding this blog with the aim of dedicating a biography section for each royal.  A ‘Biography’ tab has been added to the header.  First up, the late Diana Spencer – Princess of Wales.

>> Princess Diana Biography

The timeless story of the People’s Princess — her isolated childhood, fairytale wedding, troubled marriage, personal triumphs and all too untimely death –  has captured the hearts of millions.  She was, indeed, an icon who evolved in the eyes of the world.

First post!

Welcome to British Royals!  This blog aims to provide up-to-date news, information and analysis on the British Royal Family and the people in their lives.

Your humble blogger has been a royal watcher for over two years.  While I will try cover everyone, since much of the media focus is on the younger royals — William, Harry and their ladies — expect the site content to follow a similar lead.  Comments are welcome, but this blog will maintain its decorum, and highly offensive posts will be promptly deleted.  I understand that discussions regarding the British Royals tend to be heated, but trash talk and mud-slinging will NOT be tolerated.

Thank you and enjoy the ride.
