Kate’s younger sister Pippa has reportedly bagged herself a very eligible bachelor. This report is sure to stimulate more talk of the Middletons as social climbers. According to Katie Nicholl, the party planner was spotted kissing dashing millionaire Alexander Spencer-Churchill for most of the evening at a party last week. Alexander – Ali to friends – who is the nephew of the Duke of Marlborough and distantly related to Sir Winston Churchill, first met Pippa, 26, in Mustique during the Middletons’ annual summer holiday, and the pair kept in touch.

‘Pippa and Ali were all over each other at their friend Ed Horner’s birthday party,’ says a guest. ‘They first met in Mustique where they hit it off, but nothing happened there. Pippa turned up at Ed’s party with Prince William and Kate and they were all in really high spirits.’
