Majesty Magazine – November 11, 2009 issue – highlights causes that are close to Prince Charles’ heart. Editor Ingrid Seward writes this about him: “I am a great admirer of the Prince of Wales and have always thought he was ahead of his time. When he was speaking about holistic medicine and homeopathy back in the Seventies most people dismissed his ideas. It was the same with his views on climate change, and I remember Diana telling me he would not allow her to use aerosol hairspray, as he believed aerosols contributed to the hole in the ozone layer. She thought he was cranky then but later in her life she adopted his ideas, ate only organic food and believed in natural remedies. Who knows what the Princess would have made of her former husband’s ideas on holistic solutions for climate change, but I am sure she would have agreed with him and supported his views.
