Prince Harry, currently a lieutenant, is expected to be promoted to the rank of captain as early as May, which will put him on a roughly equal salary footing to his older brother.
Both joined the Household Cavalry at the same time but Prince William was paid more and promoted more quickly because of his university degree. However, Prince Harry graduated from Sandhurst first – in 2006. His promotion is in line with his length of service rather than on merit, Army sources said.
Friends joke that the brothers’ competitive spirit could drive Harry to announce his engagement first, too. Harry is expected to start training soon to be an Apache attack helicopter pilot, bringing him to Middle Wallop in Hampshire – just an hour away from Chelsy. Some friends say they have “sorted out their differences and are ready to settle down together.” That means Harry is ready to curb his partying…

During the eve of Kate Middleton’s birthday, fun-loving Prince Harry was partying at Raffles in Chelsea, and even had a slight mishap as he left his favourite club. He left the club in the early hours and risked damaging his crown jewels as he walked blindly into metal pole. Natalie Imbruglia also calls him “the best dancer ever.”

A newly reunited couple, Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are planning their 2010 activities. Newspapers report that they are spending the New Year with Chelsy’s family in Mauritius. Now it seems they plan to meet up for the World Cup in South Africa in June — just in time to celebrate their 5th anniversary.
